Two well-known companies, Inofia and Milliard, provide a variety of bedding items, such as mattresses, pillows, and mattress toppers. Both businesses are renowned for offering reasonably priced, premium items that are suitable for many kinds of sleepers.
Since 2016, the British company Inofia has operated in the bedding market. Milliard, on the other hand, is a US-based company that has also been in the bedding business for more than ten years.
Let’s start with the tri-folding Inofia mattress we purchased for our visitors. Before making a purchase, we paid closer attention to the Inofia folding’s overall size and medium-soft firmness. Both of these elements have proven to be helpful enough to provide our family’s average-weight individuals with a cosy sleeping arrangement. See the unboxing and package arrival picture below.
After two nights of rest, we came to the conclusion that it was a wise purchase.
Looking closely at the list of its characteristics’ descriptions: First off, its 4-inch tri-fold shape is built of strong materials and is CertiPUR-US certified, giving us the constant, long-lasting comfort we demand.
The 2.5 inches of supporting foam foundation and 1.5 inches of memory foam combine to create a comfortable, perspiration-free sleeping surface.
We discovered that mobility is the key benefit of the Inofia tri fold during testing. The mattress’s compactness is nevertheless useful for people who want to go on vacation, go camping or even live in dorm rooms.
As tested, the mattress is simple to put together, foldable, and only takes up a minimal amount of room. However, did not fully extend to 15 cm but rather only to 12–13 cm; as a result, the mattress as a whole is out of alignment if not properly cared for. See the picture below.
Regarding its layers and structure, the mattress’ outer layer cover is washable and detachable, and the ultra-soft bamboo cover enhances its comfort and skin-friendliness.
The mattress will stay in position throughout the night thanks to the cover’s non-slip bottom, assuring restful sleep. I like that my wife can quickly take off the cover and wash it anytime she needs to since she always places a high priority on cleanliness.
Moving on to the Inofia tri-fold mattress, it was only offered in twin size during our time and measured 78 by 38 by 4 inches when flat and 38 by 26 by 12 inches when folded. See the picture below.
The Inofia tri-fold mattress is a fantastic long-term investment because it includes a 100 hassle-free night trial and a 10-year warranty.
Overall, the pricing, comfort, portability, and longevity of the Inofia tri-fold mattress are all quite good.
Moving on, we bought the Milliard tri-folding mattress to put it into a campervan rather than for guest visitors. And I can assure you that it did not disappoint! See the picture below.
The mattress was vacuum-sealed when it arrived at our home, which made transporting it even easier. I was pleasantly pleased by how comfy it was after giving it a day to air out.
Despite its small size, the foam has excellent back support and is soft enough to allow for a restful night’s sleep.
The durability of this mattress is one of my favourite features. A portable mattress must be able to withstand everyday usage without losing its form, which requires substantial foam.
It is perfect for hard camping settings because of the additional layer of protection provided by the washable cover with an anti-slip bottom.
I also value the mattress’ versatility in terms of size. It comes in various sizes, so I could pick the one that would fit my campervan the best.
The tri-fold characteristic of the mattress allows for rapid and simple assembly, making it ideal for circumstances where room is restricted, and the mattress’s small and lightweight packaging makes it simple to travel.
Inofia vs Milliard Mattress: Comparison
Inofia and Milliard are two popular brands that offer tri-folding mattresses. While both mattresses are designed to be portable, comfortable, and space-saving, there are some key differences between the two that may impact your decision when choosing the right mattress for your needs.
Inofia vs Milliard Mattress: Design and Construction
The Inofia tri-folding mattress features a 4-inch tri-fold design with 1.5 inches of memory foam over a 2.5 inches supportive foam base. Its cover is made of bamboo and is removable and washable, with a non-slip bottom to ensure it stays in place during the night. See the picture below.
The Milliard tri-folding mattress is slightly thinner at 3 inches and has a 1.5 inches luxurious memory foam layer over a 1.5 inches supportive foam base. Its cover is made of a soft jacquard bamboo fabric with a non-slip bottom.
Inofia vs Milliard Mattress: Comfort and Firmness
Both mattresses provide a comfortable sleeping surface, but the Inofia mattress has a medium-plush firmness level, while the Milliard mattress has a medium-firm level. See the picture below.
The Inofia mattress has more memory foam, which can provide more contouring and support, while the Milliard mattress has a more balanced feel.
Inofia vs Milliard Mattress: Size and Portability
The Inofia mattress is available in twin size, measuring 78 inches by 38 inches by 4 inches when flat and 38 inches by 26 inches by 12 inches when folded. See the picture explaining the size and portability below.
The Milliard mattress is also available in twin size, measuring 78 inches by 38 inches by 3 inches when flat and 38 inches by 26 inches by 9 inches when folded. Both mattresses are easy to fold and transport, but the Inofia mattress is slightly bulkier due to its thicker design.
Inofia vs Milliard Mattress: Warranty and Trial, Price
The Inofia mattress comes with a 100-night trial and a 10-year warranty, while the Milliard mattress has a 30-day trial period and a 3-year warranty. In terms of warranty and trial, the Inofia mattress offers more value for long-term use.
In terms of price, the Inofia mattress is generally more expensive than the Milliard mattress. However, the Inofia mattress comes with a longer trial and warranty period, and its thicker design may be more suitable for those looking for extra support and comfort.
Inofia vs Milliard Mattress: User Reviews
It seems that both the Milliard mattress and Inofia mattresses are popular choices among UK customers who value comfort and convenience. The Milliard mattress is praised for its ease of set up, lightweight tri-fold design, and comfort for occasional use, while the Inofia mattresses are favored for their versatility, comfort, and excellent support, especially for those living in small spaces or needing an extra bed for guests. It is worth noting that some customers have mentioned minor discomfort in some sleeping positions with the Milliard mattress and the lack of covers for the Inofia mattresses when folded. However, overall, both mattresses seem to be a great investment for those looking for a practical and comfortable bedding solution.
The conversation thread on a forum where users are discussing a company called Inofia that sells folding mattresses on Amazon. The original poster asks for reviews and opinions on the company and its products, specifically the folding mattress. Another user responds, stating that they bought the Inofia folding mattress and it is very good, with good thickness and firmness, and they recommend it to others. The conversation continues with another user stating they are also interested in the Inofia mattress and eventually deciding to purchase it based on the positive reviews.
The discussion forum about the choice of bed for a homebuild conversion. The author is seeking advice on what bed to choose for their conversion as they find beds uncomfortable, and this has been the reason for selling their previous two vans. There are various options available, but the author cannot establish the comfort level of each bed without sleeping on them. Some of the rock and roll beds have comfortable seats but are not ideal for sleeping. RIB beds are described as being the best on the market because they are flat, but the author questions if the foam thickness is compromised. A user suggests Rusty Lee for crash tested beds, Cambee for varying foam options, and Concept Multicars in Kent for Reimo bed to try in the showroom. Another user shares their experience of making a full-size bed from wood and using the Milliard Folding mattress, which was very comfortable.
Both the Inofia and Milliard tri-folding mattresses are excellent choices for anyone looking for a portable and comfortable sleeping solution, according to my personal testing and comparison of the two mattresses.
The 4-inch tri-fold Inofia mattress has a medium-plush feel and is ideal for sleeping guests, going camping, or living in a dorm room. Compact and portable, with a 100 hassle-free night trial period and a 10-year warranty, it contains a washable bamboo cover.
The Milliard mattress, on the other hand, is better suited for camping because to its sturdy and thick foam, which offers excellent back support while being soft enough to have a decent night’s sleep. It comes in several sizes, is washable, has an anti-slip bottom, and provides an additional layer of protection. It is also simple to travel and set up.
The buyer’s particular requirements and preferences will ultimately determine whether they choose the Inofia or Milliard mattress. Both mattresses are of high quality and have many amazing features; it is up to the consumer to choose which one would best meet their sleeping requirements.
